2-0
Jack is quite pleased with his first goal for Balham. And FOR ONCE, someone celebrated TOWARDS the camera. (I have never seen such a shy, retiring and modest team. No doubt someone will have a word to ensure that any future goals are celebrated towards the furthest corner of the pitch. I’m going to take to shouting “OVER HERE!” if they ever score again.)
Forgot to reset the exposure after the establishing shots I took at the start. So there’s motion blur in the first few pictures. I kept them where I thought it worked.
Back on home ground and into the final run in to the end of the season. The boys played well, the referee controlled the match pretty well (though we didn’t agree with every decision), and the win was deserved.
Also young persons in the crowd, which makes for a change in intensity.
And a baby staring intently at his dad. I missed the moment where the two were staring at one another, alas. I miss so much. One of the main things I get from photography is an awareness of how much we miss when we don’t pay attention.
A reasonable crowd, for us. With several trainee ultras.
